Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2101 Parker Road

January 4, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2101 Parker Road about 9:10 p.m. on December 31.

The identity of the victim, 17, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Hobson and R. Rivera reported:

The victim and suspect were inside a vehicle stopped at a red light at the intersection of Parker Road and Aldine Westfield Road at the above address.  According to witnesses, a fight began between the victim and male suspect and they carried the fight out into the street.  At some point in the altercation, the suspect pulled a pistol and fired one shot, striking the victim.  The suspect fled the scene in a gray, four-door sedan.  Paramedics transported the victim to Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
