January 11, 2021 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 3500 Robertson Street about 6:10 p.m. on Sunday (January 10).

The identity of the male victim, 60, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Reinoso and Officer N. Luu reported:

The victim, a pedestrian, was walking northbound at the above address when he was struck by a silver pickup truck.  The female driver got out of the truck, checked on the victim and then got back inside her vehicle.  When witnesses showed up to the area, the driver fled the scene.   

Paramedics transported the victim to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced deceased earlier today (January 11).
