Investigation into Shooting at 11900 Oakmoor Parkway

January 11, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 11900 Oakmoor Parkway #818 about 2 p.m. on Sunday (January 10).

The man was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening wounds.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective K. Yeamans reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address.  Upon arrival, they found the man lying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

A woman, 39, stated the man had physically assaulted her.  According to the woman, he produced a gun and pointed it at her, prompting her to grab her own gun and shoot him multiple times.

Due to his wounds, the man was unable to provide a statement. 

No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
