Investigation into Shooting at 4800 Jarmese Street

January 20, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male at 4800 Jarmese Street about 9:45 p.m. on Tuesday (January 19).

The victim, 16, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives F. Lee and J. Windham reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a reported aggravated assault with a deadly weapon call at the above address.  Upon arrival, they found the victim lying in an open field north of a nearby apartment complex.  He was able to provide officers with minimal suspect information and was transported to the hospital by Houston Fire Department paramedics. 

One female was detained at the scene for questioning.  There are no charges filed in the incident at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
