2nd UPDATE: Additional Charges Filed Against Suspect Arrested in Fatal Shooting at 12101 Fondren Road

July 7, 2021 - Additional charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man, a woman and a juvenile female and the wounding of a second juvenile female at 12101 Fondren Road about 10:35 p.m. on June 30.

The Harris County District Attorney's Office has also charged Davis with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 209th State District Court.  Davis was previously charged with three counts of capital murder and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the fatal shootings of Harmony Carhee, 6, Donyavia Lagway, 29 and Gregory Carhee, 35.  A second juvenile female, 10, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

A booking photo of Davis, who was in custody in an unrelated charge, is attached to this news release.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Horn and Detective T. Andrade reported:

HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to a shooting at the above address and found Ms. Lagway, Mr. Carhee and Harmony Carhee deceased with gunshot wounds.  Paramedics transported the 10-year-old female to the hospital.

At that time, the suspect was described only as a black male in his 20s.

Further investigation led to information that identified Davis as the suspect in this case.  He was taken into custody on Thursday (July 1) on an unrelated family violence charge and was subsequently charged for his role in the shooting.

Additional investigation determined Davis allegedly committed an aggravated robbery near the 10000 block of Larkwood and stole a Jeep Compass about an hour prior to the shooting at Fondren.  The Jeep was seen fleeing the Fondren scene immediately after the shooting.  On Tuesday (July 6), Davis was additionally charged for his role in the robbery.
