Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5700 Westbrook Road
July 26, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in the 5700 block of Westbrook Road about 12:30 a.m. on Saturday (July 24).
The identity of the victim, 41, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Lafour and T. Andrade reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the street at the above address. Upon arrival, they found the victim had been fatally shot. Further investigation revealed the shooting happened while he was hanging out with friends.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
