Through our community-based initiatives, we provide the tools necessary for neighbors to “fight blight” and improve the quality of life in neighborhoods. Our initiatives range from one-year agreements to educating residents on ways they can report blight using their phone.

Investigation into Shooting at 7361 Antoine Drive

July 30, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 7361 Antoine Drive about 3:40 p.m. on Thursday (July 29).

The wounded male, 26, was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.

The male shooter, also 26, was not injured. 

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Barker and M. Combs reported:

The two men were at a residence at the above address when one of them pulled a gun and threatened to shoot the other.  That second male produced his own gun and shot the other male.  Paramedics transported the wounded male to a hospital. 

The shooter was questioned and subsequently arrested for a charge pertaining to a separate case.

No charges have been filed at this time in the shooting.  The investigation is continuing.
