Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6100 Grosbeak Drive

June 1, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in the 6100 block of Grosbeak Drive about 5:40 p.m. on Saturday (May 29).

The victim, Hector Adame, 64, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Thompson and L. Patterson reported:

HPD officers responded to a shooting call at horse stables at the above address.  Upon arrival, they found Mr. Adame sitting in a chair, fatally shot.  A witness stated two suspects, described only as Hispanic males with medium builds, drove up in a van and started shooting at Adame.   Adame unsuccessfully attempted to return fire and the suspects fled the scene.
