Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 218 Pennsylvania Street

June 14, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 218 Pennsylvania Street about 5:45 p.m. last Friday (June 11).  

The identity of the victim, 57, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives P. Pak and A. Henderson reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a residence at the above address and found the front door open.  Officers went inside and saw a man unresponsive.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced him deceased.  Officers found a substantial amount of narcotics and cash inside the residence.  

Further investigation determined that after multiple gunshots, three large-statured males wearing masks got into a dark-colored, older model van and fled the scene.
