June 18, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 5610 Royal Palms Street about 11:10 p.m. on Thursday (June 17).

The victim, 17, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers B. Godoy and V. Habukiha reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the apartment complex at the above address and learned a male victim had been shot multiple times.  The victim was outside with friends when unknown suspects in a red Dodge Charger pulled up and began firing multiple times.  The victim was struck twice in his right knee.  The suspects then fled the scene.  Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.
