Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 12520 Mews Circle

March 1, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and the wounding of a juvenile male at 12520 Mews Circle that occurred about 5:30 p.m. on Saturday (February 27).

The identity of the deceased victim, 20, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

The juvenile male, 15, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

HPD Homicide Division Officers C. Arrington and L. Osborn reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found the victim deceased from gunshot wounds.  Officers learned the second victim had been transported to the hospital in a private vehicle. 

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
