March 8, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 8310 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) service road about 5:30 a.m. on Sunday (March 7).

The victim, Nylda Aguilar, 22, was transported to an area hospital with what is believed to be a non-life-threatening wound to the abdomen.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective S. Hall reported:

Witnesses reported a fight broke out in the bar area of the after-hours club at the above address.  Ms. Aguilar, who was a club patron and not involved in the altercation, was struck by gunfire.  The unknown suspects fled the scene prior to the arrival of HPD officers.  Paramedics transported Aguilar to a hospital.
