November 08, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the assault of a man at 10225 Bissonnet Street about 9:40 a.m. on Sunday (November 7).  

The victim, 58, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives C. Brennan and S. Hall reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a welfare check call at an apartment at the above address regarding a male not seen for several days.  Officers entered the apartment and found the victim unresponsive with blunt force trauma to his head.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.  

At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects.
