October 7, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2806 Princeton Street about 7:10 p.m. on Wednesday (October 6).  

The victim is identified as David Cobb, Jr., 35.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Patterson and A. Thompson reported:  

Officers responded to a welfare check call at a townhome at the above address and met with one of Mr. Cobb's family members, who had not heard from Cobb for several days and had come to the residence to check on him.  When officers entered the residence, they found evidence indicating a shooting had occurred.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Cobb deceased.  

There is no known suspect description at this time.
