Update: Persons of Interest Sought in Fatal Shooting at 8932 Clarkcrest Street

October 13, 2021 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in locating three persons of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of one male and the wounding of another that occurred at 8932 Clarkcrest Street about 5:45 a.m. on September 27.  

The persons of interest are described only as black males, 20 to 25 years of age.  Photos of the three males, who are not charged, and the vehicles they were believed to be driving are attached to this news release.  

The deceased victim is identified as Samuel Green.  The other male, Chandler Fields, 25, was transported to an area hospital with a non life-threatening wound to the torso.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Elsbury and Detective D. Arnold reported:  

Two groups of males were expelled from a nightclub at the above address for fighting.  A short time later, one group drove by in a vehicle and were fired upon by the second group.  The persons inside the vehicle returned fire toward the second group, as well as at armed security guards at the club.  One security guard returned fire and struck two males in the vehicle.  The driver fled the scene and drove the wounded men to the hospital where one of them was pronounced deceased.
