Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2200 Milam Street

October 25, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2200 Milam Street about 9:35 p.m. last Friday (October 22).  

The victim is identified as Daralle Ford, 27.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective S. Overstreet reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found Mr. Ford unresponsive lying on the ground.  He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.    

According to witnesses, a suspect, described only as a black male in a dark hoodie, ran up to Ford while he was sitting on the sidewalk and shot him multiple times.  The suspect then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
