Update on Incident at 4800 Allendale Road #331

September 14, 2006 -- Charges have been filed against a suspect in the fatal stabbing of a man found at 4800 Allendale Road #331 around 3 a.m. on (September 12).

The suspect, Indrani Nisankarao (w/f, DOB: 8/29/65), has been charged with murder in the 209th State District Court. She is accused in the killing of her husband, Venkateswer Nisankarao, 45, who suffered a stab wound to the chest.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant D. Crain and Officer R.W. Chappell reported:

HPD officers responding to a call at the Concord Apartments discovered Mr. Nisankarao deceased on the living room floor of his apartment. A witness, asleep in the bedroom of the apartment, did not hear or see anything suspicious. The suspect, Indrani Nisankarao, claimed to have been asleep in the living room when she woke up and found Nisankarao lying on the floor and not breathing. She called for medical assistance and the police.

Investigation into Fatal Crash at 8000 Harrisburg Boulevard

June 7, 2022 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 8000 Harrisburg Boulevard about 1:05 p.m. on Monday (June 6).

The identity of the deceased female, 16, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and Officer D. Vinton reported:

Three teens were in a black BMW 325i traveling at a high rate of speed near the above address when the female (driver) failed to stay in a single lane. The BMW veered to the right of the roadway, drove through the guardrail on a bridge and went into the bayou below.

The back seat male passenger, 17, was able to swim to safety. The front seat female passenger, 17, was rescued by paramedics and transported to an area hospital in stable condition. The HPD Dive Team responded to the scene and recovered the female's body in the bayou. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation is continuing.
