November 3, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of two other persons at 1201 San Jacinto Street about 2:35 a.m. on Tuesday (Nov. 1).

The deceased victim is identified as Kirsnick Khari Ball, 28.  Two other victims - a female, 24 and a male, 23 - were transported to area hospitals in stable condition.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Arrington, M. Burrow, R. Watson and Detectives A. Ferrell and A. Hernandez reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the billiards/bowling alley business at the above address and observed Mr. Ball, known as rap artist "Takeoff," unresponsive with more than one gunshot wound.  Paramedics pronounced Ball deceased.  Officers were advised a female and a male were also shot and transported in private vehicles to hospitals.

Witnesses and employees told detectives a private party was held at the business.  Once the party ended, the guests exited the building and gathered just outside the front entrance.  A verbal disturbance began between some of the party guests, which led to multiple unknown males firing pistols at each other.  The gunfire caused the guests to scatter in multiple directions as they fled the scene.
