Investigation into Shooting at 12700 East Freeway

November 15, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of an adult male and a juvenile male that occurred at 12700 East Freeway about 1:30 a.m. on Saturday (November 12).

One male victim, 18, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.  The second victim, 15, was transported to a hospital where he was treated and released.   

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective J. Jorsch reported:

The two male victims and a friend were riding in a white Toyota Camry at the above address when two Hispanic male suspects became angry at them for honking the horn.  The suspects cursed at the victims in Spanish and began following them on the roadway.  One of the suspects then shot into the victims' vehicle.  

The victims were both transported to the hospital via private vehicle.

The suspects are described only as two Hispanic males with beards in a silver or white GMC or Chevrolet pickup truck.  A surveillance photo of the suspect vehicle is attached to this news release.
