September 30, 2022 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 1200 Pinemont Drive about 12:00 a.m. today (Sept. 30).

The identity of the deceased male, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Pham and Officer K. Johnson reported:

The male was operating a green Kawasaki Ninja ZX motorcycle and traveling eastbound at the above address when he disregarded a stop light and was struck by a white Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling northbound on Ella Boulevard.  Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist deceased at the scene.

The male driver, 37, of the Dodge was questioned and released with no charges filed at this time.

The investigation is continuing.
