TEMPORARY CLEAR LAKE PICKUP SCHEDULE

Dear Resident,

WELCOME! Beginning February 4, 2008, your garbage and yard trimmings collection will be picked up by the City of Houston Solid Waste Management Department due to the contract cancellation of your private hauler by your community association. In order to better service your area within such a short notice period, the following schedule has been designed.

Your new TEMPORARY schedule beginning February 4th is below. We will consolidate the Greater Clear Lake area into one garbage/yard trimmings service day early July 2008:

Please do NOT put the automated garbage can at the curb for collection until your scheduled City of Houston garbage day beginning February 4, 2008.

Maps graphically represent neighborhoods served by this department. They may include or exclude specific addresses, which are not served. Please verify your specific address by calling 311. If your pickup day/week falls during a City Holiday, it will normally be picked up the next day. Check the Holiday Pickup Schedule web page for more information. Information contained in these pages is subject to change.

GARBAGE PICKUP DATES

HEAVY TRASH PICKUP DATES

  • You can legally put your heavy trash out at 6:00 pm the Friday before your heavy trash day.
  • The number in the map(s) below corresponds to, for example: 4th Thursday means the fourth Thursday of the month. That is the day your heavy trash is collected.

RECYCLING PICKUP DATES

  • Your automated container and recycling bin(s) should be at the curb by 7:00 a.m. and removed by 10:00 p.m. on your collection day. On windy days, secure recycling materials by placing full sacks of paper on top of bin.
