Houston, Texas, November 8, 2019: In observance of Veterans, the following are changes to the City of Houston’s Solid Waste Management Department’s (SWMD) collection and facilities schedules.

Monday, November 11, 2019 (Veteran’s Day)
City Holiday: NO COLLECTION SERVICES. Solid Waste Management facilities closed. Neighborhood depositories, Westpark, Reuse Warehouse closed.

Tuesday, November 12, 2019
Monday’s Garbage, Curbside Recycling, and 2nd Monday’s & 2nd Tuesday’s Tree Waste collected today. The Neighborhood Depositories/Recycling Centers closed. Westpark Recycling Center and The Reuse Warehouse open.

Wednesday, November 13, 2019
Tuesday’s Garbage, Curbside Recycling, and 2nd Wednesday’s Tree Waste collected today. Neighborhood Depositories/Recycling Centers reopen.

Thursday, November 14, 2019
Thursday’s Garbage, Curbside Recycling, and 2nd Thursday’s Tree Waste collected today.

Friday, November 15, 2019
Friday’s Garbage, Curbside Recycling, and 3rd Friday’s Tree Waste collected today.

Saturday, November 16, 2019
Monday through Friday’s Yard Waste collected.
