August 4, 2008 - Tropical Storm Edouard is projected to approach the Houston area tomorrow.
The Solid Waste Management Department will be providing regular garbage and other solid waste services on tomorrow (Tuesday). The City of Houston Solid Waste Management Department is requesting that each resident remove their garbage can and/or recycling bin from the street as soon as possible after collection.
The Solid Waste Management Department is requesting that residents who are not serviced tomorrow (TUESDAY GARBAGE COLLECTION) to remove empty garbage cans from the street and properly secure their can in their garage or backyard to avoid loss or damage.
The Solid Waste Management Department provides solid waste service to the citizens of Houston through the collection, disposal and recycling of discarded material in a manner that is safe, efficient, environmentally sound and cost-effective.
