H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade
Last year, we started a new tradition with the pre-show “Mayor’s Citywide Sing-along”to bring holiday cheer and unity to our great city on Thanksgiving Day. This year we will continue our new tradition with, “Lean On Me.” This song was written by Bill Withers which he wrote after moving to Los Angeles and missing the strong community ethic of his small hometown of Slab Fork, West Virgina. This year has been met with highs and lows in our city from Super Bowl to Hurricane Harvey to the World Series. In the end, Houstonians can always lean on one another if they need a helping hand.
Join us again for the H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade pre-show “Sing-along” of “Lean On Me”. Be sure to listen to the radio stations along the route for when to begin singing.
