At Wortham Center, the Grand Foyer is perhaps the most renowned place in Houston for extravagant galas. Accented by a soaring six-story ceiling, the foyer can accommodate as many as 600 for black-tie affairs. For more intimate functions, the Green Room is a regal place.
For those events that really need to spread out, receptions or seated meals can be served outside on Fish Plaza. Lobby alcoves and other public areas are supplemented with a fine wine bar, two full-service beverage bars, a cappuccino bar (serving Starbucks) and a dessert station.
