Calling All Animal Lovers: Houston BARC Adopters, Rescues, and Fosters Needed!

Calling all Houston animal lovers: BARC is at capacity, and we need your help spreading the word about our amazing pets! 

Today is Waggy Wednesday, and we're offering $20 adoption fees for all dogs five months and older! Stop by our adoption center at 3300 Carr St from noon - 5 p.m. to find your newest four-legged family member. If you can't adopt, fostering is an amazing way to make a difference in the lives of shelter pets without making a permanent commitment. BARC has many dogs, cats, and kittens in need of foster homes. If you are already an approved BARC foster you can email BARCFoster@houstontx.gov to get started. New fosters can apply online https://www.houstontx.gov/barc/foster_a_pet.html - once your application is submitted go ahead and email our BARC Foster team so we can get the ball rolling!
