Join BARC For a Howl-O-Ween Mega Adoption Event This Weekend
Half-Off Adoption Fees Friday, October 25 - Sunday, October 27 at BARC

BARC Animal Shelter and Adoptions is cutting regular adoption fees in half for the Howl-O-Ween mega adoption event at BARC, located at 3200 Carr Street, Houston 77026, from Friday, October 25 - Sunday, October 27. The adoption facility will be open for adoptions noon to 6 p.m. each day.

Dogs will be $25, puppies will be $37.50, cats will be $10 and kittens will be $17.50.

Stop by BARC this weekend to find the perfect new furry family member and have a little bit of festive fun with games, activities, pumpkin painting and more. Hundreds of puppies, dogs, cats and kittens in all shapes and sizes will be available for adoption. On Saturday, October 26, BARC will have a pet costume contest at 3 p.m. and pumpkin painting starting at 1 p.m.

Do you think your dog could be certified as an American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen? Get your pet tested for free at BARC on Saturday, October 26 from 3:30 p.m to 4:30 p.m.

BARC will also hold basic obedience classes from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday if weather permits. An instructor will be available to answer questions about doggy obedience after the class. Class participants will be invited to take advantage of the volunteer grooming services before or after their class.

Thanks to Demi's Dog House for helping to make this event possible.

BARC adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, a one-year City license, a pre-registered microchip with lifetime registration and age-appropriate vaccinations. Visit www.HoustonBARC.com to get more information about BARC's adoption fees and requirements.

If you are unable to permanently adopt a pet but would like to help animals in need, BARC encourages you to consider becoming a volunteer or foster pet parent.
