Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament Scheduled for March 22, 2016
HERO supports dependents of municipal city employees who are killed while serving the citizens of Houston but are not eligible for assistance from similar organizations that help police and firefighters. Your donation will help HERO fulfill three primary goals:
- Provide the surviving spouse with financial assistance to help defray immediate costs associated with the funeral and family needs
- Provide financial assistance to surviving dependents after review and approval of HERO's benefits committee
- Provide funds for continuing education of dependent children
