HFD To Keep Fire Station 30
Open During Renovation

Houston Fire Chief Terry Garrison recently announced that
Fire Station 30, located at 6702 Irvington, 77022
will remain open during the course of scheduled renovation.

A temporary trailer will be moved onto the site to accommodate
on-duty firefighters, while the renovation takes place.

The renovation was scheduled as part of the city's capital improvement plan.
The rehab is expected to take 12 months.

Renovations will include:

• Gutting and renovation of the interior
• Inspection and repair of sewer lines
• New plumbing and electricity to extend the life of the building
