The Houston Parks and Recreation Department invites Houstonians to join the Buffalo Bayou Partnership and KBR for free family fun at the 10th Annual KBR Kids Day at Buffalo Bayou Park! Enjoy hands-on learning opportunities from non-profit partners, music and entertainment from local performers, treats from local food trucks, rental bikes and kayaks, and rides on the Partnership's pontoon boat!

Mayor Sylvester Turner will join event attendees to launch the Every Kid in a Park program. This partnership between federal, state, and local agencies and organizations facilitates field trips for fourth grade students at Title 1 schools to public lands and waterways in their communities. Every Kid in a Park aims to inspire children to discover all that our nation's lands and waterways have to offer, including opportunities to be active, spend time outdoors with their friends and families, and build critical skills.

KBR Kids Day is FREE and open to all!
Pontoon boat rides: $2.00 per person; no children under 4; weather and water levels permitting
Food and drink available for purchase
