November 5, 2013 ReBuild Houston Project Underway in District F The Cheviot Circle Concrete Panel Replacement Project will improve the streets in the area by repairing the existing deteriorating roadway. This project, which runs along Cheviot Circle and Leawood Boulevard, 77099 began in early November 2013 and is anticipated to be complete by late November 2013. Concrete panel replacement is used to repair severely cracked and broken sections of concrete streets. Additional features of this project include the repair and improvement of curbs and accessible ramps. During this process, motorists will notice lane closures around the repair areas and are urged to drive cautiously through these active work zones. The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter-initiated "pay-as-you-go" plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. ReBuild Houston will help improve the quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements. The Cheviot Circle Concrete Panel Replacement Project is an active example of ReBuild Houston at work to better serve you.
