ReBuild Houston Project Underway in District C
Local Drainage Project at Mountwood Street

The Local Drainage Project at Mountwood Street will provide improvements to address localized storm water drainage issues in the area. This approximately $24,000 project, located at the 400 block of Mountwood Street, will begin in September 2015 and will continue through the end of October 2015.

A Local Drainage Project is a small scale project that strives to optimize the existing drainage system with repairs and enhancements. This may include the repair, removal and/or replacement of storm sewers, manholes, inlets and incidental street or sidewalk repair.

This project is being funded through ReBuild Houston - the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. The goal of ReBuild Houston is to improve quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements. This project is an active example of ReBuild Houston at work to better serve you.
