July 22, 2013 ReBuild Houston Project Underway in Your Area The North Main Paving and Drainage Project will replace a roadway that has deteriorated beyond normal repair and maintenance. This project will improve traffic circulation, mobility and drainage within the area. The $6.43M improvement project, which runs along North Main from 20th/Cavalcade to IH 610, is projected for completion in late July 2014. The North Main Paving and Drainage Project consists of the construction of 3,700 linear feet of concrete roadway, as well as curbs, sidewalks, driveways, street lighting and improved storm sewer system reinforced concrete pipe to mitigate street flooding.
