August 27, 2014 ReBuild Houston Project Underway in District H The Northline Paving Project will improve streets in the area by enhancing road safety and accessibility. This approximately $14.4 million project, which runs along Northline Drive from Parker to Canino, began in August 2014 and is anticipated to be complete in March 2016. The Northline Paving Project consists of new reinforced concrete pavement with curbs and gutters, sidewalks and improved storm drainage systems. The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. Its goal is to improve quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements.
