March 28, 2014 ReBuild Houston Project Underway in Districts B and H The Parker Road Bridge Widening Project will improve traffic circulation and mobility in the area by providing upgrades to the existing Parker Road Bridge. This $4.65M improvement project, located at Parker Road over the Hardy Toll Road, 77076, is anticipated to be complete by late April 2015. The Parker Road Bridge Widening Project consists of widening the two lane Parker roadway bridge to four lanes. Additional project highlights include roadway pavement with storm drainage, street lighting and necessary utility improvements. The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. Its goal is to improve the quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements.
