October 8, 2014 ReBuild Houston Project Underway in District C The Braesmont Drive Area Drainage and Paving Project will improve streets and drainage in the area by enhancing road safety and accessibility. This approximately $7.6 million project, located at Braesemont Drive near Queensloch Drive, 77096, began in April 2014 and is anticipated to be complete in March 2015. This project consists of the construction of approximately 7,000 linear feet of storm systems, new manholes and inlets, concrete paving, curbs, sidewalks and wheelchair ramps; as well as the construction of approximately 13,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer line. The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. Its goal is to improve quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements.
