October 8, 2014 ReBuild Houston Project Underway in District G The Local Drainage Project at Bramblewood will provide improvements to address localized storm water drainage issues in the area. This approximately $54,000 project, located at the 14000 block of Bramblewood, 77077, will begin in October 2014 and is anticipated to be complete in December 2014. A Local Drainage Project is a small scale project that strives to optimize the existing drainage system with repairs and enhancements. This may include the repair, removal and/or replacement of storm sewers, manholes, inlets and incidental street or sidewalk repair. The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. Its goal is to improve quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements.
