Second Annual Earth Day

Join the City of Houston Parks and Recreation Department, along with the Galveston-Houston Association for Smog Prevention and Mothers For Clean Air, in celebrating the Second Annual Earth Day Houston Festival, 5K Run and Green Expo on Saturday, April 3, 2010, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Discovery Green, 1500 McKinney, Houston Texas, 77002. 

The free festivities kick off with the Earth Day Houston 5K Run at 8 a.m. followed by a day long celebration with family entertainment, environmental education, the NEW Green Expo and much more.  The event will focus on the merits of mindful, sustainable living while educating and encouraging Houstonians to preserve, conserve and enhance our city and the earth.
