May 3, 2010 Free Small Business Workshops The City of Houston's One Stop Business Center, in partnership with SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) and Houston Public Library's CORE (Careers, Opportunities, Resources, and Education) Center, present a series of FREE workshops for small business owners. The first workshop is for people interested in learning the basics of creating a business plan and acquiring financing. Central Library The remaining workshops are one and one-half hours sessions that cover the rules and regulations which govern the operation of small businesses in Houston.
