Vision Zero Comment Period

This is your opportunity to speak out. Tell the Planning and Development Department Transportation Planning Division your concerns or complaints about road safety in Houston. Do you see a need or opportunity to increase street safety for people walking, biking, driving, or using a wheelchair in your neighborhood?

The City of Houston Vision Zero program recently held a series of virtual public engagement meetings, but there is still time to participate in this program that addresses critical needs in your community. Share your feedback about how to eliminate traffic deaths and make streets safe for everyone by September 1, 2020. We are drafting an action plan and your input will be used to guide future safety improvements on Houston’s streets.

Go to www.letstalkhouston.org/vision-zero:

  • Place a pin on our map to show what streets or intersections make you feel unsafe when driving, walking, using a wheelchair, or riding a bike.
  • Complete the survey and tell us which actions we should prioritize.
  • Take the pledge to help end traffic deaths and serious injuries.

Vision Zero Houston is our commitment to end traffic deaths and serious injuries by 2030. It prioritizes safety and accessibility in street design for people of all ages and abilities.
