District H

Council Member Cisneros photo with childrenEvery summer, Council Member Karla Cisneros' TechConnect Program helps bridge the digital divide for kids living in District H by hiring neighborhood youth to support younger neighborhood children by teaching technology and STEM, implementing library programming, and promoting literacy. Each year the program has grown considerably, with Council Member Cisneros doubling the size of the program in Summer 2019. TechConnect 2019 expanded to each District H Community Center to supplement park programming with library programming – with an emphasis on tech skills. Questions? Call 832.393.3003.
