Investigation into Fatal Stabbing at 5133 Richmond Avenue

November 27, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at 5133 Richmond Avenue about 6:05 p.m. on Friday (Nov. 26).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Montalvo and E. Martinez reported:

Officers were dispatched to a person down call in the parking lot of a business at the above address and located an adult male with multiple stab wounds.  Paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Witnesses stated the victim and another male were seen walking together to the business and having an argument that escalated into a physical altercation in the parking lot.  The suspect stabbed the victim and then fled the scene on foot. 

The suspect is described only as a black male with dreadlocks wearing a yellow, reflective traffic vest.
