CONTACT / SEARCH Houston Police Department > Police > News Release POLICE Department Suspect Arrested, Charged in Assault at 2505 Broadway Street July 29, 2019 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in an assault that wounded four people at 2505 Broadway Street about 10 p.m. last Friday (July 26). The suspect, Luis Carcamo (H/m, 64), is charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon-family member and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 183rd State District Court. A booking photo of Carcamo is not available at this time. The male victim, Esteban Teran, 24, and three female victims, Ester Carcamo, 22, Maria Carcamo, 58, and Norma Suhjey-Vasquez, 43, suffered what are believed to be non-life-threatening wounds. HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers S. Ragsdale and R. Naughton reported: Ms. Suhjey-Vasquez was walking her dog when her husband, suspect Carcamo, approached and attacked her with a machete. The three other victims saw the attack, attempted to intervene and were wounded as a result. The suspect was detained at the scene and subsequently arrested and charged in this case.
