UH Announces Launch of IH3
August 26, 2026 -- UH has announced the launch of the Institute for Housing, Homelessness, and Health (IH3), a partnership with the City of Houston that brings together experts in policy, housing, and health to develop research-driven solutions to homelessness.
On August 26, UH System Chancellor Renu Khator and Dean Jonathan A. McCullers addressed City Council from the podium about this important work. IH3 reflects UH's original mission: working for the betterment of the lives of Houstonians.
