Percentage of National Association Education for Young Children (NAEYC) Accredited Day Care Programs

Indicator description:

This indicator provides a measure of educational quality. The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredits child care facilities for quality standards. The greater the number of accredited schools, the greater the number of students having access to “primary school ready” day care. The indicator identifies the percentage of NAEYC accredited day care programs, measured for the Houston region.
