Incident at 10819 Briar Forest August 8, 2007 - Houston police are investigating an incident in which a female was found critically injured at 10819 Briar Forest about 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday (August 7). The identity of the victim, 29, is being withheld pending notification to her next of kin. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.D. Newcomb and Officer A. Mares reported: The victim’s ex-boyfriend found her lying in the laundry room of her townhouse and called emergency personnel. The woman was unconscious and apparently the victim of a recent assault. There is also a possibility the woman overdosed. She was taken to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in critical condition.
