Incident at 17435 Imperial Valley Drive August 14, 2007 - Charges are pending against a man critically wounded at 17435 Imperial Valley Drive about 9 p.m. on Monday (August 13). Christopher Charles Mouton (b/m, DOB: 4-10-82), who suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition, is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Another male, Shawn S. Webber, 32, of 17435 Imperial Valley, suffered a laceration to the back of the head and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was treated and released. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and Officer S. J. Anderson reported: Mr. Webber was threatened at gunpoint by Mouton and two other male suspects in the parking lot of the apartment complex. As Webber walked away, Mouton struck him in the back of the head with his pistol. Webber then punched Mouton in the head. Both men fought and wrestled to the ground. Webber then picked up the pistol dropped by Mouton and shot him. Anyone with information on the other two unknown suspects is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600.
