Traffic Accident at 2100 Crestline August 22, 2007 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at the intersection of Crestline and Burden about 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday (August 21). The victim, Jose Luis Rocha, 24, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant A.C. Francois and Officers R. Kessler, T. Cox, and J. Mushinski reported: Witnesses saw Mr. Rocha riding his motorcycle at a high rate of speed, east on Crestline, as he approached the intersection of Burden. The driver of a BHS Service van was stopped at the intersection and was proceeding north when he noticed the motorcycle. Mr Rocha attempted to stop but failed and struck the van.
