Update On Incident at 6100 Dashwood

August 24, 2007 - Houston police have learned the identity of a man found fatally shot in the 6100 block of Dashwood about 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday (Aug. 22).

The victim is identified as Miguel Rojas, 22. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant L.A. Flores and Officer B.D. Evans reported:

HPD officers responding to a shooting call discovered Mr. Rojas lying on the north side of the block at 6100 Dashwood. According to witnesses, while walking on Dashwood, Rojas was approached by a dark vehicle and shot by the front seat passenger of that vehicle. The suspects then fled in the vehicle.

The suspects are only described as three Hispanic males in their early 20s. They were dressed in white or blue short-sleeved T-shirts and were in a dark colored, four-door vehicle with tinted windows.
