Incident at 1620 Enclave Parkway #2702 August 28, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1620 Enclave Parkway #2702 about 4:30 p.m. on Monday (August 27). The victim, DeMorris Grant, 35, of 1620 Enclave Parkway #2702, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Memorial Herman Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.H. Roberts and Officer B.W. Nabors reported: Mr. Grant was confronted and shot by an unknown suspect(s) at the front door of his apartment. After being shot, Grant jumped out of the living room window from his second story apartment and was taken to the hospital.
